The homeowners wanted an eye-catching garden that reflected the charm and grace of their recently renovated house. They expressed desire for and interest in edible plants so the family could spend summers picking berries and fruits for pies and homemade jams. We used bright and colorful perennials and shrubs that intermingled with the edibles. We chose to surround the new garden with a retaining wall constructed out of reclaimed granite to create a subdued and relaxed look.
